Hankyu Men‘s arguably is Osaka‘s high-end fashion central, and it’s no surprise many a luxury brand goes the extra yard to have a presence here, including FENDI. The fashion house has inaugurated a new 56.5 sqm. (608 sq.ft.) shop-in-shop on the third floor, featuring an interior design by the in-house design team at home base Rome. Needless to say, the setting presents FENDI‘s latest retail design codes which continue to flaunt its roots in the Eternal City and unparalleled craftsmanship, but also incorporate curated materials and unparalleled craftsmanship in every detail. Framed by a façade clad in subtly ribbed stone, the store setting sees wall-suspended display units with metal shelving, cabinets and clothing rails which tie in with a display cabinet and counter crafted from the same material. Additional furnishings include a dark wood display table, while two FENDI Casa armchairs, a brass coffee table and a potted plant add a homey touch to the setting. The new FENDI shop-in-shop stocks the full men’s collection, in addition to the latest model of Cashmere Made to Order, which demonstrates the brand’s unique craftsmanship and creativity. And that’s not all. For the very first time in Japan, shoppers can enjoy a variety of men’s personalisation services. © superfuture
