LOULOU, an iconic boutique selling rare and avant-garde eyewear, is ranked second in the TOP 5 global opticians by the leading international optics magazine Eyestylist. This ranking highlights the most inspiring optical boutiques in the world, recognised for their strong identity, design and selection of designer eyewear. Loulou appears alongside iconic addresses in Tokyo, Seoul, Milan and New York.

The store’s design was entrusted to architect Johany Sapet, known in Lyon for his work on
Prairial, Le Troquet, and the Sibilia charcuterie. He created a resolutely contemporary space,
combining pink concrete, dark wood and brushed metal. The shop has a floor designed
like a boudoir, offering customers a unique, high-end and intimate shopping experience where they can also have their eyes tested.

LOULOU champions ‘quiet luxury’: a rigour praised by its peers, combined with warm
customer service. Far from traditional opticians, here glasses are discovered and revealed, carefully, as the conversation progresses, like bringing out a good bottle of wine for a friend. LOULOU is also an independent boutique that supports local trade.
