Affinity is shaped by an ombré of light, material, and experience. Conceived by Atelier Svana under the direction of Bhavuk Jain, the salon explores slowness as a design strategy, replacing spectacle with subtle transitions that unfold over time.
Located within the Radisson Hotel, the interior responds to abundant daylight by filtering rather than amplifying it, creating a calm, inward-looking retreat. A custom organic chandelier traces a continuous path across the ceiling, quietly connecting reception, styling, treatment, washing, and waiting areas into one fluid spatial experience.
Curved walls replace rigid partitions, allowing spaces to flow seamlessly while preserving openness and privacy. The low ceiling is reimagined as an asset, with edge lighting wrapping each station in a soft, even glow that enhances comfort and faithfully renders colour.
The ombré extends into the material palette through gently shifting tones across floors and walls. Durable finishes, restrained soft gold accents, and a unified palette balance everyday functionality with timeless elegance.
Affinity is not designed to reveal itself at once. It rewards those who linger, leaving behind not memories of individual rooms, but an atmosphere defined by softened light, quiet rhythm, and seamless transitions that remain long after the visit.
