Sometimes design can come from an unexpected place. A bit of inspiration can come your way and then it’s up to you to just have some fun with it. The creation of our new Exit 4 coffee table came after countless trips up and down the Sea to Sky Highway from Vancouver to our home in Squamish. Among its snow-capped mountain vistas and ocean views, it was actually a man-made feature that captured our imagination.

The subtle angle of a bridge support inspired the shape of a table leg that spoke of another era… a style we like to think of as “metro-retro.” (the exit 4 is the Caufeild overpass on Hwy 99) Available in natural walnut or spiced up with some colour in western maple, the base is well balanced with a natural concrete top. After experimented with a few prototypes, we’ve come up with what we feel is a timeless piece that will add a touch of class and flare to your living room for years to come.
