Located in the historic Careytown district of Richmond, VA, this brasserie celebrates the “joie de vivre” with an exciting venue in this now trendy part of town. In a space designed to reflect the feeling of the fin de siecle in Paris, a distinctly French atmosphere transports diners back to an age of cabaret and late night dining.
The 12,000 square foot interior of this former department store has been transformed into an authentic brasserie with a full 150-seat dining room, private banquet areas, a 40-foot long zinc bar as well as a bakery/cafe. Antique mirrored walls, white marble mosaic tile floors, tin ceilings, and period fixtures are key elements to create a truly authentic turn-of-the-century experience. From the warm amber glow of the lighting to the Can Can dancer caryatids accenting the pilasters of the bar, each rich element is a carefully crafted reflection of era.
