Breaking away from the cliches of Christmas, StudioXAG instead opt for the imagery of icebergs and glaciers to establish a fresh feeling across Calvin Klein’s windows. The composition of the windows draw a clear focus to the centre where the product is neatly pressed between layers of perspex. The suspension of garments in-between these perspex panels captures and communicates the theme of a frozen state whilst enhancing the materials of the garment.
Matt black powder-coated steel structures hold iceberg prints and support the perspex panels adding a sense of depth to the windows. The unique visuals for the window were created using salt and paint, then digitally manipulated and printed onto vinyl ready for the window resulting in a detailed textured print with a striking effect on a large scale. White strip lights complete the structures, further emphasising the products whilst keeping within the monochrome colour palette and illuminating the iceberg prints.
