Sportmaster flagship store in Kolding, Denmark by Riis Retail

A new Sportmaster store concept has been revealed by Riis Retail in Kolding, Denmark. The store concept addresses young conscious consumers and modern families, who appreciate both high-class sport products and high-class and cosy surroundings.

One of the leading conceptual ideas of this shop was to create a clear simplicity so the customers can find their bearings easily. This is underlined by the raw wooden structures that create a dedicated area for each product group.

The areas surrounding the structures provide the customer with additional experiences for trying on and buying Sportmaster products.

The Shoe area is a focal point in the concept, with its sliding carts it gives an industrial feel to the shop and provides flexibility in the shop.

The choice of materials is pine, powder coated steel, concrete and a delicately matched grey color. By using a few but exquisite materials and a monochrome color scheme we have managed to create a calm and strict design where raw meets the refined and last but not least strongly defines the different areas.
