Wittner shoe store by Studio Ginger, Chadstone

December 30th, 2011 by retail design blog

Studio Ginger have taken out an award at the recent RDI Retail Design Awards for the captivating space they created for Wittner at Chadstone.

The vertical garden, designed by Fytogreen, immediately captures the attention of shoppers, drawing them into the store. The green wall is a strong contrast to the shiny black acrylic shelving, which coupled with lighting, provides a stage like setting to showcase the shoes. White gloss tiles, the extensive use of mirrors and the quilted wardrobe displays provide a high end boutique feel for the brand.

Stepping across the threshold through the sloped arch entry almost makes you feel as though you’re entering the enchanted world of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s ‘The Secret Garden’… and filled with shoes, what more could a lady ask for!
