Roger Tait Man pop-up store by Loop Creative, Sydney – Australia

Roger Tait Man is the brand new label from fashion designer Roger Tait. After specializing in tailoring and structure for some of Australia’s most up and coming and successful brands, Tait has just launched a range of men’s clothing full of spirited quirky inspiration, pattern-on-pattern, soft tailoring and earthy hued basic pieces.

Rod Faucheux of Loop Creative was appointed to conceive and bring the pop up to reality. On a modest budget Loop Creative created a 120sqm space, with trench-mesh wire caged shopfront with inter-woven fabric, a subtle nod to the garment creation process. Within the space is custom steel racking, stage lighting and projection visualizations to the wall.

The loop creative designed store at Sydney’s newest and most vibrant creative precinct, Central Sydney, the atelier and the retail converge. The space comprises of an open studio arena situated alongside the gallery-like retail area. The retail area combines with the designers studio space, the ‘engine room’, where design concepts, patterns and samples are produced.

Throughout the life of the pop-up, the space will consistently change through physical configuration and projected imagery. Both spaces will be constantly evolving, developing and interacting. It will be an experiential spatial installation, and will be exciting to visit and be a part of.
