An emphasis on the hallmarks of the brand within the sector constituted an important detail in the design of the stand prepared for the IMOB International Istanbul Furniture Exhibition organized at CNR Expo. The hallmarks of the brand were primarily its leading position among long-established brands in the sector and its ability to render completely special services to its customers.

Customer who desires to buy furniture of this brand has the chance to have customized furniture manufactured in accordance with their own taste and spatial conditions with the support provided. We compared this to a cloth you cause a tailor to sew specially to your size and taste. Namely, we considered that production of furniture made to a space, need and taste corresponds to the concept of “haute couture” in fashion. On the shelves placed over and behind a hand-made large, concrete table located in the entry of the stand, the components of the furniture and their variations are displayed together.

Also some hand tools used in the manufacture of these components were placed on that table. In this section, our goal was to provide the visitors with the story of the furniture and ensure a closer engagement of them with the furniture they will meet later. In the subsequent display, we decided on the necessary optimum intensity of furniture and circulation areas within the stand to allow proper and correct perception of the furniture.

We enriched the rear boundary of the stand with bamboo trees and benefited from the relaxation of the sense of a natural environment. The arched cube which was located in the centre of the stand and referred to the well-established and sophisticated aspects of the brand, both integrated with and a bit isolated and separated from its environment symbolized the “heart of business” as well.
