FLOWER POWER
For two weeks in March, Macy’s becomes „ the largest garden in existence” with the Brodway windows and the entire street level of the store transformed. This yearly event -now in its 35th year – is a year long projekt that culminates in March , fresh and in full bloom. We are plased to show here scenes of the 34th Flower Show.
There were eleven speciality gardens on the main floor including; „ Royal Purple”, „Cherry Hill” „Miniatures” and „ Spanish Gardens”
The visual floral bedecked voyage starts with a Marie Antoinette of the late 18th century in her rose smothered hooped skirt and towering pink cotton candy coiffeur standing in a royal garden.
