Daphne Guinness got dressed for the Met Ball in the window of Barneys New York a couple of nights ago (as reported on Style Caster). The Alexander McQueen dress is truly beautiful and I’ve been pondering what it would be like to wear something so stunning. No doubt you feel like you glide across a room and it must be impossible to feel anything other than amazing. I would love to have seen Kate Middleton walk up the aisle in this creation with a huge train of feathers. Her choice of wedding dress wasn’t bad at all (I quite liked it) but on reflection I think her dress could have been grander rather than the reserved Italian Catholic feel it had to it.
