The Local Firm opens up their first concept store December 16th 2010 at Skånegatan 82 in Stockholm. After the successful temporary shop platform project “The Local Firm Propaganda Store” last spring the step to open up a concept store was not long. The possibility to show the brands whole range in a “The Local Firm context” and building awareness through direct contact with the consumers was very inspiring. Immediately at the start of this fall season the search for the right location began. After a short time an ideal spot in the heart of the popular area “SoFo” on the southern island of Stockholm was found.

The store is to offer the consumer an inspiring full range The Local Firm- environment and represent its complete collections. The interior is according to the brands core concept inspired by the German Bauhaus movement in the beginning of the 20th century with key factors in industrial creativity and and a straight forward functionality. Fundamental materials as concrete, wood, glass and metal is merged under the brands “shades of grey” color concept.”- all characteristic aesthetics for The Local Firm.
