An essential structure which is completed with different covers, a kind of dress to choose depending on your taste, distinguishes the “Grace” chair by Giopato & Coombes.
Now in its second year of collaboration with Living Divani, the Italian-English duo creates for the company a small collection of chairs that aims for the interchangeability of the covers on the same structure, with the ability to change in time to differentiate the look of your living or working environment. The Grace structure, made from rectangular steel tube painted in epoxy black, can indeed fit four coats with details borrowed from the world of fashion, giving rise to a family of chairs each with a different character and personality.
Mandarin Grace wears a kind of cape with fabric collar that softly falls and covers part of the legs with the detail of the single vent in the tail, closed on the back; Polo Grace fits instead an adherent cover with overlapping layers in fabric or leather with stitchings and loops, that creates the design of a belt and it is removable thanks to the application of a zip; Eton Grace wears a dress with a masculine cut and an elegant tail: the only sign of intimacy is the folding of the armrest that leaves the structure “naked”, visible on the sides; PinUp Grace with the structure left bare completes the current range.
