Nudge and Rulla shop & restaurant by Fyra, Helsinki – Finland

January 15th, 2014 by retail design blog

The owners of Nudge and Rulla commissioned Fyra to design a fresh and clean commercial space that would combine the two businesses into one coherent ensemble. First opened in 2010, the ecological lifestyle shop Nudge strived to renew their entire corporate spectrum from visual identity to product and service repertory. In the fall of 2012 as renovations were complete, a Vietnamese influenced restaurant Rulla was also introduced in the same premises.

The objective was to open and clarify the shop layout and to minimize the color palette in order to highlight the product range. The 20-seat restaurant was designed to fit its cuisine; a compact, easy-going and inviting atmosphere resembling street vendor style.
