Located in the heart of Berlin, close to Alexander Platz, the new Colmar Originals store welcomes the historical Italian brand in a location that reflects the fierce and sports clothing line of its collections. The space, designed by Giraldi Associates Architects, accurately represents the brand’s style, through a simple but never banal design.

Outside the original structure has been preserved: the door and the frame made of black steel hide back the store, partially disclosed thanks to the window. Close to it, it has been installed a touch screen that allows the client to watch the new collections of the brand.

The store inside, is like a veranda with big opaque white back-illuminated windows where it seems that the clothes look out to the cosmopolitan world. The shelves – with their black halls and the tables realized by varnished black wood – make the exposed products main protagonists and oppose themselves to the bright container niches of the opposite side.

On the ceiling, the use of the lights allows more light on the space; on the other hand, the floor is completely covered by a resin that makes it seem cement. Back to the register counter, made of white shiny varnished wood, there is a wall through and through unexpected that hides the fitting rooms: an explosion of feathers stylishly twirl back to a pane among rgb lights.

The opening of this store marks the beginning of a new adventure for Colmar Originals that has decided to have at its side the Florentine design studio for the launching of new stores in Italy and in foreign countries.
