For the summer edition of ‘Marché des Créateurs’ at MUDAM, Luxemburg the designer Noa Haim/ Collective Paper Aesthetics re-created a modular Popup Shop made from fold/ unfold elderly stools. This time, by using two different colours for the interior pieces we created an effect of two different shopping environments in one space. 35 individual display stands for designers participating at the ‘Marché des Créateurs’ June 14 – 15th were assembled together with the museum team in one morning.
· Fold/ Unfold Popup shop composed from elderly stools.
· 100% cardboard.
· Assemble and disassemble by hands only.
The cardboard stools are in use for guided tours at MUDAM during ‘Never for Money, Always for Love’ exhibition curated by Anna Loporcaro and Portuguese designer Bruno Carvalho within the framework of Design City 2014. The multi-functional design brief was built together the curatorial team in MUDAM.
Each stool has two positions: one when the handles are hidden under the seating surface and the second one when the handles are exposed. Three stools together with three Wings are composing a display surface of 1.50 m² in tall version of 1.20 meter height OR the low version of 65 centimetre attitude. The stools are available for sale via boutique@mudam.lu (less than 10 units) or directly via the designer (minimum order 50 units).
