CAMPUS was founded in 1972 as a subbrand of Marc O´Polo by the two Swedes Rolf Lind and Göte Huss and the American Jerry O´Sheets. It was their vision to predominatly use natural materials. In the same year the legendary CAMPUS Sweatshirts with logoprint was born – not later than in the 80s they gained cult status. Since June 2012, CAMPUS offically trades under the name CAMPUS GmbH, thereby becoming an independent company within the Marc O`Polo group.
