1888 Certified is a gourmet butcher and homewares store located in the sunny suburb of Bondi Beach, Sydney. Timber chopping boards, woven bags, aprons and cowhide wallets sit along side various cuts of meats and ready to go meals. The concept of the store is about bringing “field to fork” with a complete head to tail approach. All the produce is sustainable and ethically raised with a great family history attached to it. These 4th generation farmers are still farming their original farming block which was first established in 1888!

Design firm Morris Selvatico was approached to design a space that evoked the feeling of the farm without being literal. Recycled rustic timber and bricks were used along side mild steel. Hand glazed white gloss tiles added a fresh injection to the palette while handpainted stenciled graphics tie the brand and interior together.
