Tang² is a chic and modern eatery that was designed using a fusion of traditional and contemporary concepts.
From traditional lattice windows and screens to modern metallic mirrors and T-shaped ceiling, the execution of different materials produces strong contrasts and yet perfect harmony – in line with the brand’s ultimate concept: an amalgamation of heritage and creativity.
The entrance showcases traditional Chinese lattice patterns crafted from metallic materials. The moulding of the pillars are replaced with metallic stripes and cement to create a chic and stylish appearance.
The restaurant’s seating areas are separated by distinct ceiling and floor designs. The high ceiling at the entrance is decorated with a mirror, while the lower ceiling on the other side carries a metallic T-shape pattern and stainless steel mirror. The restaurant’s flooring features artesian cement with mosaic patterns to differentiate the dining areas. The walls are adorned with lattice mirrors and wooden stripes, which increase the overall spaciousness and create a sense of comfort for diners.
Blending traditional Chinese style with modern materials, the overall design is a fusion of now and then – an impeccable representation of the brand’s philosophy and characteristics.
