Established in 2008, World Stores is the UK’s largest online retailer of products for the home and garden. The client wanted the space to have an industrial look, with a modern twist and splash of bold colours.
The open plan area needed to accommodate 210 desks with expansion space and hot desking areas. Agile working and flexible spaces were a key aspect to consider throughout the design. To ensure the space encouraged collaborative working, a wide range of flexible spaces were installed, including two meeting rooms, a 12 person boardroom, four meeting booths, a large tea point with a breakout area, soft seating hub, a separate office accommodating 3 people, a comms room and an IT store room. The design itself is refined and sophisticated with brand colours throughout.
Features Include: Custom made booths, large breakout kitchen space, collaboration areas, quirky furniture from clients in-house brand.
