A&B Project designed the exhibition stand for AEG at Batibouw 2017, the International Building, Renovation and Interior Design Fair. Today, the essence of the AEG brand is that every one of its household appliances is “Perfekt in Form und Funktion.” The full range of appliances allows consumers to control household tasks and represent precision, performance, order, confidence and pride. Throughout Europe, AEG stands for high-quality appliances that combine top performance with excellent German design. “Perfekt in Form und Funktion” is more than a slogan. It is a philosophy.
Inspired by the new house style of AEG and these brand values, A&B Project designed the new concept of the stand. Key feature of the design is the use of black materials, brought into balance with wood and the use of large images. A modern look is created by using concrete floor boards. Using the total available height in the exhibition center, the whole appearance of the stand is both impressive and grand. The high end look is achieved by the level of finish and the sleek design.
Visitors are immersed in an overall kitchen experience by placing different cooking islands with working products. Use of a lower ceiling and the decoration with accessories complete the intended atmosphere.
The 3 large black display towers are placed on one side of the stand, each one focusing on a different appliance; the fridge with customflex® door system, the dishwasher with comfortlift® and the ovens with steaming function.
As the stand is placed in between 2 aisles, one side focuses on the AEG brand itself, with 3 large led screens that create an inspiring atmosphere of cooking with fresh ingredients. On the other side the Zanussi brand is placed. Zanussi is a leading brand for domestic kitchen and cleaning appliances. Exported from Italy since 1946, Zanussi is widely recognized for the quality of its innovative products and distinctive modern design. On the first floor a bar space is created for the sales representatives, using the same black materials and high end finish.
