Last summer, 298 Nikuya group opened Porker (which is a concept bar to enjoy the aged pork dishes with a drink) in Central, Hong Kong. It is a new business of Studio C8 long standing client and we were delighted to be asked to help design a sister brand. Located on Pottinger street, which is known as the Stone Slabs Street, Porker offers a relaxing space where time passes by so slowly.
The overall interior scheme combines a stylish element and the warmth of wood to create a cozy place, which has a fashionable and causal ambience. A special feature in the space is the wall decoration, which has been selected a characteristic wall covering to reflect the name of the bar “Porker”.
