The creation of Canadian hip-hop star Drake’s Pick 6ix required the coordination of top European designers with a bevy of talented North American tradesmen. The goal was to carve a 9,000 square foot sports bar, restaurant and high-end lounge out of the former Houston’s Bar & Grill on Yonge Street in downtown Toronto.
The setting is ideal for attracting athletes from the nearby Air Canada Centre and Skydome while also serving as a magnet for executives from nearby office buildings and casual diners looking for a touch of the high life.
The client also desired to offer a 4-season patio that would be both open and airy in the summer months and warm and cozy during the worst winter weather.
