The challenge was to design a self-contained jewellery concession within Arnotts to display the jewellery in a unique and exciting way.
It also needed to be consistent with the ethos of the company, young, fresh, minimal and contemporary. It had to be fun and accessible to all and make a statement in itself.
We also wanted the customers to be able to touch and feel the jewellery and give them ideas of how they could customise their own unique piece.
Elemental concrete cubes sit in a square around the jewellery making zone. These cubes are then eroded to display the product at the corners where customers walk by. Brass lettering and display rails rise up from these to give a playful counterpoint to the rigid geometry of the cubes.
