Oculus Design Studio completed the wellness-focused and effective office design for Rackspace, a cloud technology company located in Hyderabad, India. The new workplace for Rackspace has an outstanding design, keeping the idea of healthy employee wellbeing at its core, by providing employees with space where they can work effectively. This workplace is designed to increase productivity & drive growth.

The unique feature of the overall design is the usage of brand colours in different ways as the design theme. A luxurious or classy effect to the whole office has brought by using veneer throughout & by maintaining the same or similar finish to have a sense of rhythm. When we talk about the planning approach, The meeting cluster in the island concept being the main attraction gave us an opportunity to make the curved glass edges for the rooms to have a sense of flow.

All workstations are been placed towards the external glazing side to have maximum natural light which has been proved to increase the efficiency or productivity of the employee working in the office. The workstation area also includes collaboration spaces as well to break the monotony & it acts as a refreshment zone or informal discussion zone with colourful design & greenery to change the mood.

To have acoustic treatment for the office, Acoustic panels have been used in different forms & shapes in the meeting rooms &collaboration areas to have noise reduction. The panels are used as a suspended ceiling with unique designs, Acoustic light fixtures are used in all meeting spaces which acts as a design element as well as serves the purpose. Panellingon partitions are done with a combination of triangular-shaped natural wooden panel & ACP panels including pop-up colours. Another major attraction of the office is the artwork & graphics highlighting branding & the office location being Hyderabad. The MDF CNC cut clock design is very unique &grabs the attention of people by bringing beauty to space.
