It’s safe to say that Tokyo‘s bustling Ginza shopping district ranks among the planet’s most coveted shopping grounds, and as such, the majority of global luxury brands are present here full force, including Dior. The Paris-based fashion house has had a striking flagship store at the multi-storey GINZA SIX shopping centre since 2017, but now that this outpost is being thoroughly renovated, a temporary retail space has opened on the second floor of the shopping centre, right below its voluminous atrium. The interior design, created by the brand’s in-house design team, takes ample cues from another temporary Dior retail space—the Champs-Elysées flagship store which opened during the revamp Dior‘s iconic boutique on avenue Montaigne. The settings see a subdued white and champagne gold colour scheme, captured by displays, fixtures and select furnishings. The temporary Dior store carries both women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, bags, shoes, jewellery and watches, in addition to home objects, and remains open until further notice.
