CAOZITOU bench was visually inspired by “艹”, the radical in Chinese character is mostly used in words related to nature or vegetation. It is made of one long horizontal and two short vertical plywood slabs of equal thickness with a metal reinforced structure. A small table and extension legs are designed to attach to the basic form for more comfort and engagement as well as the possibility to change styles with different material combinations. In addition, CH28 Collection consists of five benches inspired by different natural phenomenon: Magma, Fumarole, Eucalypt, Aurora and Blue Flame. CAOZITOU Pagoda is an installation designed for multi-functional public spaces, made up of a group of stacked CAOZITOU benches and some stools.
