The showroom is conceived not as a conventional retail environment, but as an art space where architecture becomes the first encounter with the KRAKATAU brand. Inspired by the history of the volcano, the concept explores destruction, transformation and renewal.
The central installation weighs more than 300 kg and is made of perforated powder-coated metal sheets. Its fractured, crater-like geometry evokes volcanic landscapes, while cables, LED screens and stainless-steel elements reference KRAKATAU’s cyberpunk aesthetic. More than 40 kg and 300 metres of cables and wires blur the boundary between natural forces and technology.
The white main hall acts as a neutral, museum-like backdrop. At the entrance, LED screens create a narrow threshold, concealing the installation until visitors enter and discover it in full.
The luminous hall transitions into intimate fitting-room capsules with mirrors, stainless steel, video installations and warm lighting. This contrast reflects a core KRAKATAU value: protection — clothing protects the body from extreme environments, while the architecture creates a protected space from the visual noise of the contemporary city.
The showroom becomes a physical manifestation of KRAKATAU’s identity, where destruction becomes transformation, technology meets nature, and new energy emerges.
