Located in a homey and casual mall in the heart of Bangkok’s CBD, Knob cafe’, is a chic, lifestyle cafe offering a new “bake n take” experience. The idea is to elevate f+b into a playful, casual and fast paced gourmet concept including providing a lot of home decorative items and lifestyle gadget such as ceramic ware, hat, scarf and verities of knob handle, to allowing customers not only a place to refuel, but to socialize with friends and colleagues, which is the true essence of urban business lifestyle. MADA design factory has designed and developed a new life style cafe’ together with 3 Legged by using “KNOB” as a key concept. They put a lot of Knob to space and elements which can be inspired to customer or designer who love design and have passionate.

A city is full of contrasts and contradictions. As urban lifestyle, the challenge of this project is to portray the contradictory reality of the urbanscape within the physical confines of this store. Inspired by London’s Borough Market, the café offers a wide gamut of f+b ranging from breakfast to lunch, teatime to even happy hours including home decorative items and lifestyle gadget also there are provide a furniture selected from everywhere to customer. To complement the urban lifestyle , a lively and inspiring atmosphere has to be injected into the space, yet with design elements that also inspired and offered as a new destination lifestyle cafe’
The café interior contains a collection of knobs that summaries and inspire how we can adopt knob to other functional and space the impression of knob is a key achievement for this store.

A existing brick wall be created a lot of display items by using blue+green color tone to accent and reflect the industrial tone of the café. This unique identity is knob by using varieties of it to adopt to other function as innovative way. Other design and display details that capture the London street market ambience include: the hilarious burned out neon sign “knob cafe’”, the expose ceiling and chandelier above the communal table constructed with steel boxing net and water pipes with incandescence light bulb, and varieties of seating to reflected homey style look and feel.
