PRODUCT STORY
Edge Dominos maintains the traditional number pattern but innovates by using solid aluminum and removing all excess material. Travel-size and light weight, Edge works just as well on-the-go as it does around the home. The durable black metal finish and laser engraved number pattern will never scratch off, ensuring that the game will be played for generations. Minimal and unexpected, Edge Dominos brings new life to a classic game.

INSPIRATION
Double-six dominos is a fun and simple game of strategy. The pieces are tactile and there is a rhythmic sound when each tile hits the table. Perfect while travelling, camping, catching up with friends or relaxing around the house, playing dominos is a great way to enjoy the moment. Having played dominos for years and frustrated with the plastic sets on the market, industrial designer Andrew Perkins decided to create a new type of domino that maintained the essence of the classic game, felt great in the hands, was sustainably made and durable enough to be taken anywhere. The final form is composed of the walls and the numbers only, and the tiles are thick enough to stand on their edge yet small enough to be travel-size. Edge dominos is meant to be played, and when the game is done, it also makes a unique display piece for the home.

PROCESS
Edge dominos are made differently from any other domino set. The tiles are all extruded from a solid block of aluminum, which is a zero waste process and the material is 100% recyclable. The metal flows into shape, is then cut to length and finished with a durable matte black anodized coating. Each unique number pattern in the 28 piece set is laser engraved onto the tiles, creating bright, white and everlasting dots. The result is a quality domino that looks great, plays well and is 100% made in the USA.
