A Japanese restaurant within a 5-star hotel. The aim is for a simple space, somehow neutral, that calms and prepares the senses for the feast of flavours that promises to be tasted. It is divided into two distinct zones, significant of the eating way of this other culture.
A marble stone volume that jumps from the floor and winds through the space, solving the places over the counter and the teppanyaki area – on one side the customers, on the other the cooks. And the private rooms, distributed in another volume, hanging, a separate box within which the guests gather in the intimacy of a blind curtain. The circulations are clearly defined by the position of the volumes among themselves.
