Although comfortably settled on the western periphery of Zurich’s downtown area, Qwstion has ventured to the city’s historic Altstadt to further raise its profile with a temporary store on Limmatquai. The ground floor unit was previously occupied by an Italian restaurant, but now features an understated setting designed by the brand’s creative director Christian Kaegi and his team. The ground floor space has been stripped, leaving the bare essentials – read: polished black marble floor – to serve as a fitting backdrop for some simple but sleek interventions.
First and foremost, there’s a bag all featuring a selection of Qwstion’s coveted bag models, in addition to displays, a seating arrangement, and let’s not forget the projections of photographs of stone constructions that cleverly add a sense of craftsmanship to the austere setting. Mind you, the photographs also adorn the shop Façade. The new Qwstion store stocks a curated selection of bags, apparel pieces, shoes and small leather goods.
