Oxígeno Arquitectura were tasked with the design for the corporate offices of Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) located in Monterrey, Mexico. As part of the basic ideals of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, the design for its new corporate offices took into account different aspects. Based on their school and sports activities, spaces were established to represent in a didactic way the interaction between each and every one of the people that form part of the Institution, considering principals – teaching staff – students, establishing a common language for the 8 corporate building levels. As a consequence, this led us to consider architectural elements that allowed the space – user relationship, establishing a creative and functional language through colors, furniture and recreational areas, thus covering the needs of each individual.
