Recently unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Auto show, the Bugatti Legends Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse “Rembrandt Bugatti” Edition is the fourth model in the six-part “Les Légendes de Bugatti” series. Paying homage to the late French artist Rembrandt Bugatti, this special edition supercar tells the story of the French artist’s ability to sculpt and yield different metals into magnificent artistic forms, in the same way that Ettore Bugatti did when he founded the brand.
The “horizontal split” design is coated with a bronze-colored clear-coated carbon. The lower section of the car is coated with the same clear-coated carbon but in a lighter shade of brown (Noix) providing contrast between the heavy upper section and the subtle lower section of the vehicle. Under the hood sits an 8-liter W16 engine with an astonishing 1,200 horsepower offering a top speed of 254 mph. The supercar will be available for approximately $3,000,000 USD and just three will be made.
