Contemporary Fine Arts is a fixture of sorts in Berlin’s happening art gallery scene. Spicing up its operations the gallery has launched a pop-up store on the ground floor of its premises in the popular Mitte district. The temporary retail space is inspired by the notion that today’s fast-paced society has rendered the gallery’s collateral products of projects of the past 20 years such as books, exhibition catalogues, posters, dvd’s, vinyl, and other paraphernalia, merely as dust-catching stock.

So, in order to showcase these again the aptly named front row pop-up store has been opened. There’s a great variety of offerings and in price range, and what’s being presented will rotate frequently. The merchandise will be presented amidst a selection of the gallery’s woodcuts, paintings, photos, graphic and sculptures, all for sale as well, and is accompanied by a lecture programme.
