Taking inspiration from the studio spaces of high-end fashion designers, Formroom looked to combine materials swatches and hardware samples with bespoke cabinetry a in a combination of marble, mirror and gold tones. Large digital screens and iPads in store also allow customers to custom build their bags online from within the store.

The hub of the store is the Scent Discovery Bar, which was designed to invite and engage customers into the well-being experience, by enabling them to discover their main underlying wellbeing need – Sleep, Stress, Energy or Mood Boosting. Finished in a white-washed ply with copper framework, this elegant focal point encourages interaction and increases dwell time.

FormRoom were invited to develop a proposal for various interior panel units of the brand’s Ottowa Store in Canada. The panels were based on the theme of construction toys, such as Meccano, and on items of Ted Baker apparel.

Absurd Bird Restaurant by FormRoom & DesignLSM, London – UK

The assembled look of the furniture, reclaimed wood flooring and corrugated iron panels create an urban aesthetic. Playful finishes such as cement tables brandished with bird footprints, neon signage and birdhouse lighting injects the space with a youthful twist.

Ted Baker Lancaster Place Grooming Room by FormRoom, London – UK

Inspired by the silver screen, FormRoom created sculpture made out of radio equipment, a vintage television displaying white noise and a miniature television containing a set model of the Lancaster Place Grooming Room.

Created as a homage to effective administration and focusing on different historical eras, FormRoom created installations inspired by classic office equipment such as rulers and protractors to reflect the precision needed for decision making.

We brought old parquet floors back to life, built new partition walls, installed lighting features, manufactured new furniture and worked with Levi’s own brand items to bring together an inspirational space for a modern Levi’s to showcase their new collections.

POP-UP STORES! H&M: Conscious Lounge Pop-Up by FormRoom, London – UK

The team wanted to keep the space fairly clean and simple with a limited colour palette. The first idea was to have the ‘Closed loop’, which is such an important part of the H&M Conscious campaign, vinyled onto the floor so visitors could follow this path to navigate through the space. The Shop-Fit was kept minimal with lots of white and a touch of plywood.

The front façade and store interior were decorated, paying close attention to small details such as manufacturing the furniture by using a combination of white and also black washed plywood.
