Gastroarte restaurant is located on the Upper West Side of NYC (141 W. 69th Street) and is run by renowned Spanish chef Jesus Nunez. He hired us to create his first American restaurant. We incorporated his artistic background (as a youth he was a graffiti artist) and combined it with a sophisticated and modern environment that compliments his food and elevated menu.

All the graffiti was done by an amazing Chilean graffiti artist named Dasic Fernandez. Here is a video of him working on the process.

We took vintage wallpaper and had Dasic graffiti over it, ripping areas out and creating amazing murals throughout the space. If you look closely at the bullfighter mural, you will see his jacket and background is vintage wallpaper- this serves as a great centerpiece to this intimate and beautiful space.
