Irving & Co have worked with Rapha and Progress Packaging on the packaging and print design for Rapha’s major product launch of 2012 – The Grand Tour Shoe – the world’s finest road cycling shoes. We evolved the graphic language taking cues from the Skincare packaging we developed with Rapha in 2010 as well as the Rapha luggage range to create an understated, premium shoe box design. The layered design experience utilises elements such as the iconic Rapha tissue paper and individual shoe bags which help heighten the sense of anticipation and reflects the high performance value of the product.
