Coming from over 2000 sqm the challenge was to organize the new office now on only half the size with 1000 sqm. The refurbishment works were done during daily business over a period of two and a half months. In order to work on the 5th floor first all the employees had to move to the 4th – this period was preparing them to work together with less space which can be seen as one of the success factors in the new office space.
Besides that introducing change management in the process was the key – a group of user representatives was working together with the project team: The employees were able to bring in their influences to the new environment.
