We´ve done it again – this month we´re in a celebratory mood, because Loreak Mendian is opening a new store again. This time we reach beyond the Spanish geography: the chosen location is Bayonne. Which makes it our third French venture, after the Citadium space in Paris and Loreak Mendian Lyon.

Different, but always with the Loreak Mendian touch: that´s how we could describe the brand´s concept stores, in which the previous purpose of any chosen space, or its location, help define its aesthetics. In Bayonne the walls remain bare, cracked and imperfect; this combines nicely with the symmetry of the wooden furniture and the hydraulic tiles typical of early-20th Century buildings.

This new concept store was opened at the beginning of this month at 17 Rue Thiers, and on Thursday the 20th the whole Loreak Mendian team will merrily join the launch party from 6 pm on, with a set by DJ Providence a.k.a. of course we will add the local touch with a snack consisting of pintxos, just to bring a rootsy flavour.

Attending the event will be Susana Quiñones, Loreak Mendian´s managing director, and the two founders of the brand: Xabier Zirikiain and Víctor Serna, creative director and collection design manager respectively. They will all be delighted to chat with you and answer to your questions.

Bayonne is joining the Loreak family, which celebrates its coming of age after 18 years of growth with concept stores in: San Sebastián, Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, La Coruña, Gijón, Vitoria, Paris, Lyon, Bayonne and Melbourne.
