Open to the public as lounge space during NYC Design Week, this space introduced the designer’s textile, product, and graphic designs for Herman Miller to a new generation, selling a curated selection at the event. The merchandise stands out on tube-and-connector fixturing that enables quick setup and teardown, proving the timelessness of this flexible system designed in the early 1960s. A model living room combines Girard’s work with contemporary pieces. Textiles figure prominently, adding a tactile dimension.
