Pleasant lighting and cheerful colors characterize the interior design of the new Smart Digital Office in the Wall AG headquarter in Berlin. The heavy desks recall workbenches and their arrangement facilitates the intensive exchange among the employees. Flexible stools can be arranged freely around the tables, they allow short meetings and promote collaborative work. The interior design by IONDESIGN Berlin responds to the demands of a connected workplace.
As supplier of street furniture, the Wall AG’s home is the urban space – the floor covering therefore looks like asphalt and cites urban surfaces. Yellow road markings provide an ideal test track for short and long distance effects of the content on the Digital City Light Poster. Next to the desktop workspace is the relaxed bistro and the staff lounge. The individual offices and a conference room were placed higher than the rest of the office and thus clearly separated.
Nevertheless, the open space concept continues thanks to sophisticated glass partitions. The staircase shines in bright neon red and clearly marks the entrance to the pioneering new office of the Department Smart Digital. The open ceiling with its industrial character contrasts the precise cabinets. Petrol, yellow and neon red create a lively atmosphere promote the wellbeing and creativity of the employees. The new office of the Wall AG is the opposite of an anonymous open-plan office.
