chök, the chocolate kitchen by INTSIGHT, Barcelona – Spain

July 21st, 2016 by retail design blog

After the success of its first shop, chök, the chocolate kitchen, opens a second one in the Barcelona city centre, Ramelleres, 26 street. The main chök concept is to create a space where the kitchen is the core element, allowing customers to see how the products are prepared or even take part in cooking workshops. In addition, each shop has its own unique personality, offering different interiors and details.

This time, the kitchen, went for a more industrial and aseptic look, through the use of inox still furniture and a big window faced directly to the street. The space has been treated with soft colors and natural wood, allowing products to stand-out by their own. The characteristic way of exposing the core product, the chöks, has been maintained. Furniture are custom-made and realized combining wood, glossy metal and silestone. chök still being one of the most visited shops in Barcelona.

From INTSIGHT, we continue developing the brand concept for the projects that will be realized over 2017. New ideas, new spaces, new packaging and new products developed together with chök and espluga+associates.
