McCabe Design Group were commissioned by an established family pharmacy group with over 25 outlets to develop a new retail environment to position their group as the premium health care retail offer in Ireland. New branding, packaging and customer communications were created by Tom Meenaghan Associates, while MDG interpreted the visual communications and all client objectives into a dynamic and accessible customer retail experience.

By combining both contemporary and traditional building materials, exposing structural cores disguised by suspending LED lighting, and by reducing gondola heights for 360 degree customer vision, MDG created an open and accessible retail store.

The heart of the store is centered around the customer dispensary, accessible for clear and speeding transactions, and offering semi private information counters for discreet consultations. Private health screenings and consultation is offered within a number of private rooms, constructed in plate glass walls with related brand graphics applied.

Both category and subcategory signage is produced for clarity and consistency within the new brand guidelines.The shopping experience has been enhanced though the detailed application of finishes, materials, colours, textures, lighting and graphics. The customer experience has reinforced their choice of health care provider as a loyal, caring and professional family business.
