Restaurant Yugo’s cuisine is a marriage between French and Japanese cultures. Both were carried to the interior with an uncomplicated colour palette to bring a cohesive balance. The inclusion of Japanese elements was brought through clean straight lines, different application of natural hemlock that delivered a sense of warmth and flooring that mimicked stone quarried in Japan. The French flair was conveyed with herringbone tile, ornate tables, curved lights and brick representative of traditional country interiors. The overall outcome is a clam and inviting interior with a contemporary vintage simplicity.
