DMZ Work is a co-working space operated by Tokyo-based company Nekojarashi that is aimed primarily at visual media creators.
The number one concern in the design of the office was creating a space in which users can focus completely on their work.
In the center of the office is a free workspace; the booths that adjoin this space have large swing-up doors.
With these doors in an up position, the booths and free workspace become one large room, enabling users to not only focus on their work in an open workplace environment, but provide a space where various events and communication can take place, encouraging an atmosphere of collaboration.
Taking hints from the surrounding Tsukiji district, the design of the space uses universal elements.
