Designing around a finished product is always a challenge. It should evoke emotion without blocking the product. Product is a highlight, design is Roca’s statement and appeal.”Bubbles all-around” are inspired by modern trends in eclecticism.The Athica bathtub in this case merges with the unique W+W toilet sink in a single space.The self-contained construction of the rear wall, imitating a system of moldings, is painted in monochrome, thus indicating a modern trend.The retreat from the back wall creates a play of shadows, visually showing the depth of the space. An installation of Matt balls is imitating bubbles explodes from each product and brings the two showcases together.
