The Subtype retail space designed by Melbourne creative studio, Noise Noise Noise amplifie distinct materiality as a fundamental basis for the curated product selection on display.
Opened on 20th April 2019, the store is set in the basement level of Melbourne CBD’s iconic Hero building. The environment pays tribute to the building’s history – maintaining existing built structure and exposed bones, telling the story of the past whilst overlaying space-age industrialism as a juxtaposition in the true sense of the word.
Subtype’s new retail space defines a refined language for the brand to speak to the consumer and truly creates a significant moment for the retail landscape within Melbourne.
