Brooklyn barbershop has finally set its foot into shopping mall, and now they are collaborating with coffee shop. Located in the end of many stores, we create a space that stands out and can attract people’s attention. The basic idea is to create a light box that looks like a lantern, glass block is selected as the dominant element of the exterior. To our knowledge, barbershop and coffee shop are two very different things. We need to separate these 2 different spaces, however the over¬all area is so limited that we don’t want to create a feeling of cramped space. We design a long table as the language of continuity between the barbershop and coffee shop, and they are separated by a transparent tempered glass.
